Lake Orion, MI - UAW Local 5960 members Logan Smith and Michael McCready were among the first group of UAW/GM candidates to complete the Skilled Trades Readiness Certificate Program (STARC) and receive apprenticeship job offers.

Logan Smith graduated from the STARC Program on August 9, 2021. He has accepted a Die Makers Apprenticeship at Pontiac Stamping. His reporting date is June 6, 2022.

Michael McCready graduated from the STARC Program on October 10, 2021. He has accepted an Electrical Apprenticeship at Factory Zero. His reporting date is June 6, 2022.
